The FIPS codes forall counties and county equivalents in Virginia are listed using the VGIN 2024Virginia Administrative Boundaries dataset. Counties and cities are then matchedwith each tribe’s identified areas and contacts are shown accordingly.Tribal counties are selected and used to create individual tribal layers. Anadditional layer is created to list all counties with true/false values indicating thepresence of each tribe, and all tribe names are concatenated into a single columnfor easier reference. The tribal layers are incorporated into the DEQ EnvironmentalData Mapper, and a lookup widget is provided, allowing users to find tribal contactinformation based on an address lookup. This dataset provides a comprehensiveview of tribal boundaries and associated contact details, facilitating permitteecommunication with the appropriate tribal representatives.
