Subject: The DEQ’s Office of Pollution Response and Emergency Preparedness manages the Pollution Response Program. PREP staff respond to air, water, and waste-related pollution incidents to protect Virginia’s environment and the health and well-being communities. Pollution reports are captured in a database and investigated by DEQ staff. This dataset provides detailed description of all multimedia pollution incident reports filed through PReP including both recent / daily reports since 2019 as well as historic reports from previous database systems dating prior to 2019 and 2008.
